Indiana Dental Health Needs Assessment for Adults with Disabilities
The AWS Foundation and Delta Dental Foundation graciously supported a dental health needs assessment for adults with disabilities in Indiana. We conducted 52 one-on-one personal interviews, six focus groups, conducted an online survey reaching 142 individuals, and developed two advisory groups composed of professionals serving adults with disabilities and caregivers of adults with disabilities. “I Need My Teeth” Continues Virtually
We continued the “I Need My Teeth” assembly as a virtual offering over the last year due to continued COVID restrictions. Our trusty cast of actors and loyal Tooth Fairy provided 42 live, virtual assemblies over the last year, reaching 5,552 youth across Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana. The assembly is a success thanks to the continued generosity of the Delta Dental Foundation.
